Americans celebrate Juneteenth across the country

CNN– Today is the first time Juneteenth is getting its due. It’s observed Monday, since the holiday fell on a Sunday. Last year, it became a federal holiday at the last minute, on June 17, with little time for widespread celebration.

Amy Kiley reports, this year, the United States is ready to recognize the historic day.
