Some restaurants adding extra surcharges

CNN– The next time you eat out, you might want to be aware of surcharges. Some restaurants are adding extra fees to offset higher costs for food, fuel and wages.

According to the National Restaurant Association, diners may notice the surcharges displayed on menus, checks and websites. The organization points out that restaurants are dealing with rising wholesale food prices, up 15.6% in the last year.
