The Salvation Army of the Midlands is thanking the Midlands community for their generous monetary donations and volunteering to ring the red kettle bells this past Christmas season.
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— The Salvation Army of the Midlands is thanking the Midlands community for their generous monetary donations and volunteering to ring the red kettle bells this past Christmas season.
The 2022 Red Kettle Campaign raised over $257,000. Online donations totaled over $30,000.
The counties served by The Salvation Army of the Midlands include Richland, Lexington, Kershaw, Newberry, and Fairfield Counties.
Richland County Sheriff’s Department broke the record this year for most money raised on a single day by an organization at one location. The Department raised $2,349 on December 8, 2022.
