RCSD, CFD & Columbia Cyclones face off for charity in Palmetto Puck Generations Game!

IRMO, S.C. (WOLO) – A local youth hockey team will join Richland County deputies and Columbia firefighters on the ice for a good cause this Saturday!

The 2023 Palmetto Puck Generations Game kicks off at 1 p.m. at the Flight Adventure Park Irmo at 1019 Broad Stone Road.

The event is free to the public.

Curtis spoke with Master Deputy Mike Doire and CFD Captain Michael Syzmanski on teaming up with the Columbia Cyclones youth hockey team for a fun day on the ice.

They’re accepting donations for the Muscular Dystrophy Association and the Richland County Sheriff’s Department Foundation.

The event will have a food truck along with many items up for auction like WWE Smackdown tickets, Monster Jam tickets among others.
