China is Building World’s Largest Wind Turbine

China is building a wind turbine that will stand 70 stories tall.  Each blade will be more than 450 long and when the blades spin, they will cover an area equivalent to 9 football fields.  The company says it is enough to supply 96,000 residents while reducing CO2 emissions by 66,000 tons.  You can read more about it here:
