First Named Tropical Storm of 2023

Tropical Storm Arlene formed earlier today in the Gulf of Mexico.  These storms get their names once their sustained winds reach 39 mph.  Arlene is headed south and will die off over the next few days – posing no threat to anyone except some rain.
