Columbia Police seize multiple illegal guns

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)—Columbia Police officers say multiple guns were recently seized throughout the city from May 6-7.

Several firearms were reported stolen, two had an obliterated serial number which is illegal, and one was found during a DUI arrest, say authorities.

Another was located after a ShotSpotter alert.

ShotSpotter is a gunshot detection system that conveys the location of an incident.
