Columbia Fire Department puts out house fire on Baywater Drive

When firefighters arrived to the scene, they found fire pushing through the roof, attic and carport. Three vehicles were on fire.

Firefighters worked to put out the car fires before entering the home. A heavy amount of fire was found in the kitchen and it was extinguished.

All occupants made it out safely and none were injured, say officials.

An investigation is underway.
