CPD: Pedestrian hit by truck at Whaley & Assembly Streets in Columbia

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – Columbia Police say a male pedestrian was hit by a truck last night.

It happened at the intersection of Whaley & Assembly Streets.

Columbia police say the 56 year old male died as a result of his injuries.

Investigators say they believe the man was unlawfully in the road when the accident happened.
