Woman arrested in connection with shooting another at Eastover home

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — A 27-year-old woman was arrested in connection with a Friday, Oct. 27 shooting said the Richland County Sheriff’s Department.

RCSD said deputies responded to a report of a shooting on House Road in Eastover around 11 p.m.

When deputies arrived at the scene, they found a woman had been shot.

The woman was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening.

Deputies said an investigation determined that 27-year-old Ashley Irving got into an altercation with another woman at the home.

Investigators believe Irving went to get a handgun and returned to shoot multiple times.

Irving was taken to the Alvin S. Glenn Detention and charged with attempted murder and unlawful carrying of a weapon.
