COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — In today’s look at local living, Columbia Animal Services is hosting an adoption special next week.
Starting on Nov. 13 through Nov. 22 all adoptions are $23.
The shelter is open Monday through Friday from 12 p.m. until 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Humane Lane.
Also, Lexington County Animal Services is hosting an adoption special throughout this month.
During the ‘Gobble Til You Wobble Thanksgiving Adoption Event’ all fees are $10.
To find your new furry friend, you can visit the shelter on Ball Park Road in Lexington on Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Columbia Museum of Art is having a “Day of the Dead” celebration this weekend.
The Day of the Dead is a Mexican tradition to honor those who have passed away.
The free event includes arts and crafts, live music, dances, and other cultural activities on Saturday, Nov.11 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
