Local Living: Early bird tickets on sale for annual Taste of Lake Murray

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– In your look at local living, early bird tickets are on sale for the annual Taste of Lake Murray.
The annual event presented by Lexington Medical Center and Lake Murray Country raises money for the annual Fourth of July fireworks celebration on the lake.
This year’s Taste of Lake Murray takes place March.21 at the Double Tree Hilton and will feature samples from around the region.
Currently, tickets are $100 per person but prices go up to $125 on Feb. 14.
You can help make a child’s Christmas wish come true this holiday. The Salvation Army’s Angel Trees are up across the Midlands and online.
ABC Columbia is a proud partner with the Salvation Army for the project.
A Salvation Army’s Red Kettle can be found at locations all across the Midlands for the holiday season.
All of the money stays local and you can drop in a few dollars, some change, or even donate using Google or Apple Pay.
Major Mark Craddock with the Salvation Army says nearly 500 bell-ringers will be out and about this season.
The Red Cross is asking for help this holiday season. Officials say this time of year the blood supply is low.
