SC Governor, First Lady announce Christmas open house at Governor’s Mansion

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster and First Lady Peggy McMaster are inviting South Carolinians to join them in celebrating the holiday season with a Christmas Open House.

Officials say the event will be held on Monday, Dec.4 from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at the Governor’s Mansion.

Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus will be present to greet guests, entertainment will be provided by harpist Nina Brooks, and light refreshments, including hot chocolate, cookies, and candy canes, will be served.

Guests are asked to consider bringing cat or dog food, litter, or toys to be donated to the Pawmetto Lifeline which will be accepted at the entrance to the Governor’s Mansion.

Officials say the event is free and open to the public.
