The South Carolina Ballet’s Nutcracker opens this weekend

COLUMBIA SC (WOLO) – The South Carolina Ballet (Formally the Columbia City Ballet) Nutcracker season opens on Saturday December 9.  According to Artistic Director William Starrett, there will be six performances over the four day run of the 2023 presentation.

Starrett said although the show is new and fresh every year, this year, guests will not only find new twists and ways to tell the story, but a completely new set, which he says is the first one in three decades.

Tickets range from $35-$60, and Starrett points out that if you find tickets more than $60 they may not be authentic, so the best bet is to call the Koger center at 803-251-2222 for tickets.
