SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– A man is charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine after a Sunday traffic stop in Sumter County, say deputies.
The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy was driving on US-261 when 31-year-old Cardise Rakeem Ingram-Grant allegedly did not yield the right of way and nearly hit the deputy’s vehicle on Dec. 17.
After the deputy performed a traffic stop, a search happened where containers were found.
Deputies say Ingram-Grant admitted to the containers having cocaine, as well as having marijuana in his possession.
He was taken to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center and released on a $10,000 bond.
