Lexington County new fireworks ordinance
LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department posted on social media about the county’s new fireworks ordinance that will effect the area.
The sheriff’s department says there is a new fireworks ordinance that will make time limits and restrictions in the unincorporated areas of Lexington County.
According to deputies, fireworks cannot be shot after 12:30 a.m. on Jan. 1.
Anyone seen by deputies shooting fireworks after 12:30 a.m. could receive a noise ordinance violation ticket, which carries a fine of $150.
