Local Living: Cottontown Art Crawl, spring break camp registration ,free book signing event

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– In today’s look at Local Living, the 6th annual Cottontown Art Crawl kicks off next month.
Nearly 200 artists will showcase their work in the historic neighborhood of Downtown Columbia.
The free event takes place on Saturday, March 9 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Registration is now open for spring break and summer camps at the South Carolina State Museum.
Each camp is themed with a different topic of learning and open to children ages 6 through 12.
Kids will focus on science, technology, engineering, arts and math.

Historic Columbia and the South Carolina State Museum are hosting a free book signing event.
Award-winning Journalist and Author Claudia Smith Brunson has teamed up with Photographer Cecil Williams on his new biography.
The book explores his life and perspective during the civil rights movement in South Carolina.
The event takes place on Thursday, February 15 at 5:30 p.m. at the Hampton-Preston Mansion.
