Mega Millions ticket worth 40K sold in Orangeburg

ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WOLO)– A single Mega Millions ticket worth 40,000 was sold in Orangeburg for Tuesday night’s drawing.

SC Lottery officials say the ticket was sold at Spinx #271 on  St. Matthews Road in Orangeburg.

The winning ticket holder matched four white ball numbers and the gold Megaball number to win $10,000 but because the player purchased the Megaplier option, their winnings quadrupled to $40,000.
