Traffic Alert: West Street closes due to fire crews working fire in the area

WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– West Columbia firefighters are working with Lexington and Cayce firefighters at the scene of a fire on West Street, said the department.

According to fire officials, they are working the scene of a residential structure fire in the 400 block of West Street.

Officials said the fire is under control but the street is still closed as crews are still in the area working.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated and there were no reported injuries.
