RCSD investigating Sunday shooting, say deputies

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– RCSD deputies are investigating a Mallet Hill Road shooting that happened on Sunday, said the department.

Deputies said they responded in the 700 block of Mallet Hill Road in relation to a shooting hit.

When deputies arrived to the scene, a victim who was giving aid was found in a breezeway.

Richland County Sheriff’s Department said EMS arrived to the scene and the victim was taken to a local hospital.

He was later pronounced dead due to the injuries he received.
