Town of Irmo’s special election for new council member starts today

IRMO, S.C. (WOLO) – The Town of Irmo is holding a special election today to find a new council member.

This comes after the seat was left vacant by former council member and current Mayor Bill Danielson.

The two candidates running for the seat are financial advisor George Frazier & businessman Gabriel Penfield.

Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
