Town of Irmo choses new town council member

IRMO, S.C. (WOLO)– The Town of Irmo has chosen a new town council member.

Businessman Gabriel Penefield is the unofficial winner of the special election defeating financial advisor George Frazier.

The election came after the town council seat was left vacant when Bill Danielson was elected mayor.

Election officials will certify the results in the coming days.
