Richland Co. deputies continue investigating deadly shooting

Richland Co., SC (WOLO) — The Richland County Sheriff’s Department is still looking for answers into a shooting that claimed one life Thursday March 14, 2024. According to RCSD, they were called to the intersection of Widgean Drive and Blue Ridge Terrace to investigate what appeared to be a shooting.
Authorities say when they arrived at the location around 7pm they found a man unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds lying along the side of the road. EMS pronounced the unidentified victim dead on the scene a short time later.
