USC students asked to avoid walking on road after large tree falls, causes sidewalk damage

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– USC students in the area between Capstone and Columbia Hall will also need to use some caution on campus today.

USC police say a large tree fell on the sidewalk and part of it is now unusable. They’re asking students to avoid walking on the road.

Crews are working to clean up the damage.

Meanwhile, the Richland County Administration building is closed on Wednesday after losing power from the storms.
