Walk a Mile in Our Shoes event to fight against sexual violence starts this month
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – Pathways to Healing is hosting an annual walk this month to continue the fight against sexual violence.
The Annual Walk a Mile in Our Shoes starts Saturday, April 20 at 9:30 a.m. at the State House.
T-shirt pick up is at 8:30 a.m. and special guests like Creighton Waters, lead prosecutor in the Alex Murdaugh double murder trial, will speak at 9 a.m.
Curtis spoke with Rebecca Lorick, Executive Director of Pathways to Healing, about how you can join the fight wearing your best high heels.
Their goal is to raise $90k to continue to provide free services for sexual violence survivors and their families.
