Study shows S.C. could use aid when it comes to the Nursing profession

Columbia, SC (WOLO) — South Carolina is among the nation’s worst for Nurses.

According to the website Wallethub.com the Palmetto state is lagging behind in areas like starting pay for nurses, average annual salary, and nursing job openings. The profession is often considered a career that not only helps save lives, but according to findings in this study  has one of the lowest unemployment rates in the United States. Hawaii came in last place being named the worst state in the country for the essential workers.
