One lane open after dump truck overturns on Orangeburg County road, say fire dept

One lane on Old State Road in the area of Wells Cross Road is open after the area being shutdown, says the fire district.

ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– One lane on Old State Road in the area of Wells Cross Road is open after the area being shutdown, says the fire district.

The Orangeburg County Fire District says the area was originally shut down due to an overturned dump truck in the roadway.

People are asked to use extreme caution when traveling in the area.

Clean-up crews are continuing to work on the shoulder of the road to remove the sand.
