LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Firefighters rescued several pets from a Lexington County home after a fire broke out inside, say firefighters.

Around 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 9, multiple fire departments responded to a house fire in the 200 block of Townes Road.

When crews arrived to the home they found a heavy volume of fire in several parts of the structure causing substantial damage, says the Irmo Fire District.
