First Tropical System of The Season

The first tropical system of the season has formed.  It’s not yet an official tropical storm because it doesn’t yet have all the characteristics.  But it’s expected to develop into a tropical storm shortly and move north and west – making landfall along the coast of Mexico, south of Texas.  In addition, there is another system several hundred miles off our coast that has a small chance of also becoming a tropical storm.  As always with these situations, please stay tuned.
