Two Orangeburg men accused of pointing gun at, robbing man and 11-year-old daughter
ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) — Two Orangeburg men are facing multiple charges after being accused of pointing guns on a North Carolina man and his 11-year-old daughter and robbing them.
Lloyd Fulton, 18, and Terrance Jackson, 19, are both charged with two counts of armed robbery with a deadly weapon and two counts of possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, according to the Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were notified of a robbery around 4:30 p.m. Friday on I-26 where a man reported he and his daughter were robbed at gunpoint after pulling their vehicle over to rearrange a cooler that had spilled.
The man said he was able to distract the two gunmen long enough for he and his daughter to flee in his vehicle.
The sheriff’s office said Fulton and Jackson attempted to pursue the father and daughter in their truck but had tire failure near the exit for I-95.
