Guardians of the Night K9 5K raises money for Richland County Sheriff’s Dept. K9 Deputies

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)–A big turnout for the Richland County Sheriff’s Department K9 unit at the State Fairgrounds over the weekend.

The Guardians of the Night K9 5K race is hosted by the Richland County Sheriff’s Department.
Participants Saturday evening ran alongside RCSD Deputies and their K9 partners.
After the race, awards were handed out and runners met with the Deputies and the K9’s.

Funds raised from the event help go towards food, safety equipment, collars and custom-fit ballistic vests and more for each K9 Deputy with RCSD.
