Verizon to hold backpack giveaway at multiple Columbia locations
COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) — On Sunday, June 28th, a handful of Verizon stores across the Columbia area will be giving away free backpacks.
Round Room, LLC (a Verizon authorized retailer) is giving away $3M worth of FREE backpacks at its 12th Annual “School Rocks Backpack Giveaway” event across the U.S.
With backpacks being a higher ticket item on the school supplies list, Round Room hopes to alleviate some of the financial burden associated with back-to-school season.
Hundreds of families are expected to line up to receive a free backpack and participate in family-friendly activities.
The giveaway starts at 1 p.m. on Sunday at the following locations:
