Two Columbia-Richland firefighters injured on West Beltline Boulevard

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) — According to the Columbia-Richland Fire Department, two firefighters were injured late Saturday night while fighting a massive two-alarm fire.

The flames broke out in a commercial property on West Beltline Boulevard and Brookland Circle. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Richland County Fire Marshal’s Office.

One of the firefighters has been released from the hospital — while the other is still being treated.
