Sumter School District announces unexpected internet outage

SUMTER, S.C. (WOLO)– Sumter School District announced that there was an unexpected internet outage.

According to the district’s Facebook page, an IT team is actively working to solve the issue.

But the issue is not expected to be fixed until Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 3.

District officials say during this time, schools and offices will not be able to access online resources or communicate by email and other digital platforms.
