SCDOT to temporarily close and detour I-26 Westbound ramp at Exit 91 A September 16

COLUMBIA (SC)–We have a traffic alert for Monday September, 16.

According to the South Carolina Department of Transportation, they will temporarily close the I-26 Westbound ramp at Exit 91 A for roadwork.

SCDOT says drivers will exit using Exit 91 B and turn left on Columbia Avenue to go toward Chapin. SCDOT asks that drivers pay attention to signs in the area that will help you navigate the changes.

According to SC DOT, you can plan your route ahead of time by using SCDOT’s 511 SC app or by visiting 511sc.org. If you can’t avoid the area, SCDOT asks that you use caution and slow down when driving near crews.

The roadwork is part of the Midlands Connection project.
