Olive Garden strikes deal with Uber for delivery

(CNN)– Olive Garden has struck a deal to use Uber Eats for deliveries from some of its locations.

The chain’s parent company Darden Restaurants announced the multi-year partnership.

It begins later this year at a limited number of locations, and will likely expand nationally to its more than 900 locations next may if the pilot program is successful.

Uber Eats is taking over deliveries from Olive Garden employees.

But food can only be ordered through the Olive Garden’s website and app, not through the Uber Eats app.
