Bond denied for Lexington barricade suspect

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Bond has been denied for a Lexington man who was involved in a barricaded standoff Sunday.

Police say 57-year-old Keith Miles is accused of assaulting a woman and holding her against her will for hours at a home on Palm Court.

According to investigators, she later escaped.

Miles then barricaded himself inside and refused to cooperate with officers.

He was later arrested and is being held at the Lexington County Detention Center on multiple charges including kidnapping and assault.
