TSA: 2.7 million passengers screened on Tuesday

(CNN)– Millions of Thanksgiving travelers have already passed through airport security checkpoints.

On Tuesday, Nov.26, the Transportation Security Administration screened nearly 2.7 million travelers.

That is about 50 thousand more travelers than the same day last year.

The busiest days to fly will be today, Wednesday, Nov. 27, and Sunday, Dec. 1, with more than 3 million passengers expected on each day.
