Winter weather Update: Roads are clearing in the Midlands

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– The sleet, freezing rain and snow that blanketed most of the Midlands early Friday has turned into rain.

ABC Columbia’s Tyler Ryan has a look at road conditions from Lexington, where traffic is moving smoothly and the freezing rain has turned to rain.

A reminder, however, when driving on slick roads be careful, freezing patches could cause black ice.
