Large fire at Amick Farms remains under investigation

SALUDA COUNTY, SC (WOLO) — According to the Saluda County Emergency Management Division, a large fire broke out at Amick Farms on Saturday night, one of Saluda County’s largest employers.

Fire departments from Batesburg-Leesville, Aiken, Lexington, Newberry, and Greenwood responded quickly and contained the blaze with no injuries.

Crews arrived at 9:30 p.m. Saturday and cleared the scene around 4:20 p.m. Sunday. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
