FAPD: Person accused of shooting at vehicle arrested

FOREST ACRES, S.C. (WOLO)–  Officers with the Forest Acres Police Department says a person who they believe was involved in a shooting earlier today has been arrested.

The police department says dispatch received a call around 12 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 3, with the report of shots fired into a vehicle near Bethel Church Road and Covenant.

When officers arrived to the scene, they found a vehicle had been struck while leaving Ravenwood Apartments.

The vehicle came to a stop at Bradley Elementary School.

Investigators say three people were inside of the vehicle at the time, and no injuries were reported.

The suspect has been identified as Ty’ quan Kelly.

Multiple schools in the area went on lockdown as investigators searched for Kelly.
