City of Columbia hosts annual “We Go Red for Women” event

In honor of National Wear Red Day on Friday, Feb. 7, the City of Columbia is hosting its annual “We Go Red for Women” event at City Hall.

The annual effort raises awareness for heart disease which is the #1 killer of women in the U.S.

People across the U.S. will “Go Red” to raise awareness around women’s heart health as part of the American Heart Association’s American Heart Month celebration.

Attendees were encouraged to wear red.
