Update: Newberry Co. Coroner identifies worker who died in trench collapse

NEWBERRY (WOLO)– The Newberry County Coroner has identified the worker who died in a trench collapse as 53 year old Anthony Marquet Hollowman of Bishopville.

Coroner Laura Kneece says Hollowman died on the scene of the trench collapse incident that occurred in the 7700 block of Macedonia Church Road, in Newberry County, on Monday.
According to the coroner, an autopsy will be performed this week.
The Newberry County Coroner’s Office and the Newberry County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the incident.
