COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, early giving for “Midlands Gives” has begun.
The Central Carolina Community Foundation helps hundreds of nonprofit organizations each year with the giving challenge.
Midlands Gives Day is set for Tuesday, May 6, where you can help support hundreds of local non profits during the 18-hour challenge.
But you do not have to wait until then, as you can start donating early.
Grab your leashes! Pawmetto Lifeline’s Bark to the Park is back at Saluda Shoals Park this Saturday, April 5.
Registration starts at 10 a.m. with the walk starting at 11 a.m.
Hundreds of pet owners can bring their furry friends to raise money for homeless pets.

You can bring home a shelter dog for an extended sleep over.
