City leaders hold ribbon cutting to celebrate opening of ‘The Laundry’

Columbia, SC (WOLO) — City leaders held a ribbon cutting event for the grand opening ‘The Laundry’ Wednesday. The new venue is set to become a premier destination for weddings, corporate gatherings and special events in the heart of Columbia It’s as part of the revitalization of the Bull Street district.

The facility was originally built in 1821, ‘The Laundry’ shares a long history from being a mental asylum to rebranding as an event venue.
