SCHP: Vehicle crashes into Sumter County home

SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– South Carolina Highway Patrol says a driver is dead after crashing into a home in Sumter on Sunday.

According to SC troopers, it happened after 8 p.m. on Gueen Chapel Road near Westbury Mill Road.

During the crash the driver went off the road, overturned and hit a home.

The Sumter County Coroner’s Office has not yet identified the victim.

SC Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate.
