Local fraternity brothers participate in March for Babies

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) — Brothers of the Omicron Iota Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. joined the Columbia community on Saturday for the March for Babies event, hosted by March of Dimes.

In addition to participating in the walk, brothers assisted with setting up the route, organizing the food station, and placing signage to guide participants. They say their service reflects Alpha Phi Alpha’s long-standing dedication to uplifting and supporting communities.

March for Babies brings together friends, families, and coworkers with a shared goal: improving the health of moms and babies. Each step helps create stronger futures for families locally and nationwide.

“We were proud to support March of Dimes and to see the Columbia community come out for such an important cause,” said a representative from the Omicron Iota Lambda Chapter. “It was a powerful reminder of what we can accomplish when we work together.”
