Planet Fitness offers teens free summer gym access with returning program
(WPDE) — Summertime is almost here, and school is almost out. That means the return of the annual high school summer pass at Planet Fitness is fast approaching.
Returning for its fifth year, the program invites high school teens ages 14 to 19 to work out fo free at any Planet Fitness location throughout the United States and Canada.
Club access for the program begins June 1 and continues until August 31.
The program has helped millions of teens to establish healthy fitness habits during a time when many young people may lack access to organized fitness.
According to the release, all high school summer pass participants have access to the following:
- Planet Fitness’ complete range of strength equipment, including new plate-loaded machines, best-in-class cardio equipment, stretching space and more
- Free fitness training from certified fitness trainers
- Teen-specific workout plans designed to build strength safely and effectively
- The free Planet Fitness App featuring hundreds of on-demand digital exercises
- A welcoming, non-intimidating community environment
