Two-alarm fire at California Dreaming safely extinguished

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) — According to the Columbia-Richland Fire Department, firefighters responded to 2-alarm fire at California Dreaming Saturday night.

Units responded to the restaurant on Assembly Street around 9:30 p.m.

The fire was seen showing from a rear section of the roof and third floor. Firefighters say they traced the fire to the ventilation system of the restaurant.

The fire was extinguished and brought under control, with customers and employees evacuating safely with no injuries.
