Trump to give TikTok another extension

(CNN)– TikTok is getting another 90-day reprieve.

President Donald Trump is set to sign an executive order delaying the sale-or-ban law.

The law went into effect in January.

It requires TikTok to be banned in the U.S. unless it’s sold by its China-based parent company.

Neither has happened yet since Trump continues to delay the law’s enforcement.

Now it appears, TikTok has become a bargaining chip in the tense trade talks between the U.S. and China.

The app has 170 million users in the U.S.
